History/Background

Born in a world where humans and beastkins exist, beastkins are a race of beings with animal like features such as tail and ears from their ancestor animal. Though beastkins are often treated poorly by most humans, despite beastkins being naturally stronger than humans.Ket was one of them, a pure fox beastkin, born between two other fox beastkins, while magic runs through his family line, ket was a prodigy, his parents already legendary title mages. He showed magic much earlier the others, while it was his father's turn to watch him while his mother was our doing missions, he nearly burned down the house, since he had no control of his powers yet.They weren't upset with him. In fact, the opposite, proud, he developed his powers early. Though it sparked him to begin training, he excelled and learned spells much faster then normal, but there was a slight problem unlike everyone else, Ket did not have Mana it seemed to come from a different source, his own stamina, if he used too much magic or too powerful of a spell he'd pass out. So to avoid having to always rely on magic, he began to train himself in swordplay, no master to personally teach him, he observed through media and books to learn.At the age of 10, still much younger than the rest of his peers, he'd attended the mages Academy, home to the mages guild future members. Of course, being a beastkin, he was bullied relentlessly by the human members, which were the dominant species at the school. There were few beastkins who attended, let alone, could make it in. Bullied and beaten often, he'd usually end up inch within his life and often escorted to the medical room. Though they learned after a while, he had a unique ability he had regeneration, healing any wound and leave no scar, the down side it would take several hours to kick in so death was a high potential if not treated.As he went through classes, they learned he could learn most spells with ease and ease. Though he could never learn healing magic, not on himself or others. If he wanted to keep himself from dying to his wounds, he'd need to learn first aid.One day, a bullied had threated ket, picking him up by his shirt and quickly dropped him, crying out "Monster" ket's power was intense, in the ethereal plane, known as the plane of magic and those who have magic can see it. Saw ket had 8 other tails, making him a nine tail, a powerful legendary creature. This terrified everyone, causing them to call him the Ninetailed fox. Even the master mages would call him that. Already ahead of his fellow students, he'd one day be called to the Mage's guild head office, where the most powerful mages were. He was declared a sage, one of them.Ket wanted nothing to do with them and left the guild, though he already had a plan. During his time at the academy, he had one friend it didn't last long due to her parents. She was named Lily, the only friend who ket had. She was a human, but her parents despised beastkins. They would sneak out and meet up, but her father got wise and threatened, ket. To keep him safe, she swore she'd never speak to him again, though she snuck out one last time. Headed to Ket's house in the middle of the night and spoke to him through his window and made him promise to change the world, make them see beastkins are just as much of equals as them.Thus, when ket "graduated" the academy, he told his parents he was leaving the island to go and pursue his promise.
